Leading Through The Noise.
Pro teams don't track more than you. They track what matters, and act before you do.
Best for: Leadership conferences, CEO forums, business owner events.
Keynote, 30 to 45 minutes. Panel. Fireside chat.
Brilliant, passionate and focused. Fantastic - loved the ‘in moments of chaos, decide and act with speed’. Brought it back to basics, so much resonated with me in my current environment.Attendees, Mindshop Conference post-event survey
Four losses in a row. Monday, 7:30am. Neil is told his job is on the line.
Then he walks straight into the team meeting and installs the week for the next game, away from home. No time to be sure. Read it, call it, run it.
They went there and won.
See the signal. Decide and act at speed. In the chaos. That's the whole job, on a touchline and in business.
Everyone is racing to automate the systems. Here's the part nobody says out loud: what decides who wins is how your people behave. Most leaders can't prove they're shifting it at all.
None of this came from a boardroom. It was forged in elite sport: egos and strong opinions from the four corners of the earth, under live pressure. That's where Neil learned to read signals and decide at speed.
The room doesn't just listen. They read one real person, then one real relationship, and leave with one behaviour to build. Measured, not guessed. Every read is a count, something observed, or a feeling. A feeling is a hypothesis, not a score.
Don't leave here impressed. Leave here uncomfortable. Then go read your own people.
- The 3 C's: Connection, Clarity, Consistency. Read the people, cut to the real thing, make it hold.
- Why, What, How, strengths first: read the weapon before the gap.
- How to identify, build and measure the behaviours that move performance.
- Delivered at the Mindshop Australasian Conference as a 50-minute keynote with two short workshops built in.

Would your team draft you?
Every team has three groups: champions, contenders and passengers. Which one would your team say you are?
Decisions at game speed.
Pro teams decide in seconds and review by morning. Your rivals are getting faster. Are you?
The scoreboard you're not keeping.
Revenue is last game's score. Pro teams build every week to win the next one. Do you?
AI won't replace strong leaders. It will expose weak ones.
Pro sport makes calls on live data mid-game. AI now makes that possible in business. The question is who uses it first: you or your rivals.
